Mizuki Osawa
The Japanese guitarist Mizuki Osawa was born in 1996 in Kanagawa (Japan) and studied the instrument continuously under her grandfather, Kazuhito Osawa, since the age of four.
Furthermore, as a child and adolescent she studied also under Mitsunobu Shima and Akiko Saito. After graduating high school, she studied under Mototaro Takada, Tomomi Kono, Toshiyuki Kumagai, and Shin-ichi Fukuda at Showa University of Music Junior College.
In March 2017, she graduated from the junior college department as top of the class and received the college’s honor award.
Since October 2017, she studies under Prof. Alvaro Pierri at University of music and Performing Arts Vienna (Austria).
She has won many prizes at international competitions in Japan, among others:
1st prize at the 36th Junior Guitar Competition,
1st prize at 2nd Roppongi International Guitar Competition
